Welcome! NCAPSA – the North Carolina Association of Police and Sheriffs’ Attorneys – is a not-for-profit corporation which exists to assist and support attorneys representing law enforcement agencies in North Carolina

OUR MISSION

Administration of Justice

Protect the rights of the people through education, advice and advocacy

Professionalism

Promote and enhance professionalism as well as skill and abilities of the participants in the Association

Legal Education

Improve and enhance the level of knowledge, education, training, and skill of those serving as legal counsel or legal advisors or public law enforcement agencies, officers and officials throughout the state of North Carolina

Law Enforcement Training

Improve and enhance the level of knowledge, education, training, and skill of public law enforcement agencies, officers and officials throughout the state of North Carolina

Community Engagement

Sponsor or engage in programs to improve personnel development, performance, and well-being of the members of the various law enforcement officers and agencies in the and throughout the State

Advocacy

Represent through its participants the interests of the law enforcement agencies and departments throughout the state of North Carolina in the courts of the State of North Carolina as well as the courts of the United States
